Welcome back to the 2018-19 school year!

School Registration 2018-19 takes place in two phases:  Registration Online and In Person.
Refer to the bottom half of Page 2 in the 2018-19 Parent/Student Handbook for more detailed information (download the attachment below in the gray "Resources" box at the end of this message)

1)  Phase 1:  ONLINE Registration

In an effort to make your registration process more convenient, you need to have your Aeries Parent Portal created.

• Open your web browser and type https://aeriesconnect.auhsd.us/auconnect
• Click on "Create New Account" to get started.
• Accessing the Aeries Parent Portal is a four‐step process.
• Go to the Aeries Parent Portal and begin the Registration process.
  • Open your web browser and type http://www.kennedyhigh.org
  • For 2018-19 enrollment, click on "New or Returning Student"
  • Log into Aeries Parent Portal with the account you already created.
  • Begin completing the Aeries Registration.  Make sure all the sections are completed.

Any questions regarding Passwords for the Parent Portal may be directed to passwords@auhsd.us.

You will need to print out and sign your online registration information, called the "Ticket to Register," and return it to school on your scheduled date (see below).

2)  Phase 2:  IN-PERSON Registration

Please plan on returning your registration information to Kennedy High School on the following dates:

• July 23 (Mon.), 8:00 am-1:00 pm, 12th graders
• July 24 (Tues.), 7:30 am-12 noon, 11th Graders, IB students, and all Band and Color Guard students
• July 26 (Thurs.), 7:30 am-12 noon, 10th Graders
• July 27 (Fri.), 7:30 am-12 noon, 9th Graders
• August 2 (Thurs.), 9th Grade Orientation 10:00am-1:00pm; Incoming 9th Grade Parent Orientation/9th Grade Social, 6:00-7:30 pm

When you come to Kennedy, park in the NORTH Staff Lot, entrance near La Luna Dr.  Overflow parking is also available across the street at Walker Junior High School.  You will walk into 1st Court where the first station will be next to MP-1.  See the map attached at the bottom of this message.

NOTE about PURCHASING ITEMS:

Refer to Page 23 of the Parent/Student Handbook to see what items can be purchased for the new school year.  Please fill this out PRIOR to attending In-Person Registration.  Have your method of payment prepared.  The school accepts cash, personal check, and credit card only.  Should you pay via credit card (SchoolPay), a nominal fee applies for the use of the credit card. 

NOTE:  Cap & gown, Grad Nite, Senior Portraits, and School Pictures CANNOT BE PAID at the Student Activities Window nor online through SchoolPay. These are separate purchases collected by the vendors directly.  

Skip the long lines for payment!  Use SchoolPay to electronically pay for school-related fees!  
It's a quick and easy sign up.

• Go to www.schoolpay.com
• Click on "unlock" icon
• Enter your email address
• If your email is in the system, a password link will be emailed to you.  Click on the link, select a NEW password, and you are all set!  Your student will be included in your account.
• If your email is NOT in the system, you will be guided through creating an account.  You will need your student's ID number and your student's school site.

Once you choose the items and pay, bring the receipt with you on the date of Registration so you can bypass the long line to pay for fees!

In case SchoolPay is not working, we ask you be prepared to pay via cash or personal check (made out to "John F. Kennedy High School"). 

OFFICE DEPOT DISCOUNT

We partner with Office Depot to save you money on school supplies!  Download the attached flyer and bring this to our local Office Depot #2281 (4955 Katella Ave, Los Alamitos, CA 90720) .
