School Day Countdown

On-Campus Tutoring After School is available for all scholars Monday-Wednesday and Friday. Tutoring is offered in the PARENT CENTER  from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm. No appointment is needed. 

 

AP/IB testing will be starting soon.  The testing window is from May 1st through May 19th.  Testing schedules will be handed out to AP students the week of the 17th and include a testing tips sheet on the back.  AP testing questions can be directed to Ms. Zubiate in the counseling center. Best of luck to all our students' future endeavors.

 

Saturday Academy 5/6/23. Has your student missed a day or more of school? We have the perfect solution to help them catch up on missed learning by attending Saturday Academy. At our Saturday Academies, our wonderful Kennedy teachers give students additional support for their missed work. Our next Saturday Academy is on May 6th from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm.  We hope you take advantage of this opportunity!  

 

 

Kennedy Singers- POP SHOW May 5-6. Purchase tickets on our website or at the box office (outside of KPAC). Cash/card accepted. Presale tickets are $15 regular, $10 student. At the Door $20.

 

ASB Information

"The Final Wave" Kennedy High School's end of the year dance. May 12 from 6-10 pm and for all grades. There will be no outside guest tickets sold. It will be on campus in the gym. 

 

Teacher Appreciation Week! May 1-5. Keep an eye out for ASB posters around the school. 

MONDAY: Posters for all the teachers

TUESDAY: “You are the highlight of my day!!!” (highlighter gift) and certificates for teachers

WEDNESDAY: Bring your teacher a candy day

THURSDAY: Dress like your teacher day and write a “Thank You” note.

FRIDAY: Teacher luncheon provided by PTSA.

 

Empowered Health Wellness Fair. To celebrate Mental Health Month, TGR Foundation is partnering with Providence to host the Empowered Health Wellness Fair on Saturday, May 6 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. PT at the TGR Learning Lab, and you're invited. This FREE event welcomes students and families to learn about the importance of mental health and ways to prioritize wellness. There will be workshops and resources for adults and teens, in addition to the unveiling of the newest green bench of Providence’s Promise to Talk Initiative and lunch.
