Cell Phones. As a reminder, please review the following cell phone policy as cell phones should not be a distraction during instructional time:
If a student has a cell phone or electronic device out or turned on during the restricted instructional time, the following rules apply:
- The cell phone/electronic device will be confiscated from the student.
- The cell phone/electronic device will be returned to the parent/guardian of the student.
- Repeat offenders will face disciplinary consequences.
School Site Council. Our School Site Council meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 25th at 3:30 p.m. in Room 101. Here is the agenda for the meeting.

The free event aims to showcase the campus and provide a glimpse of the Titan Experience, while highlighting the many programs, services, and resources our campus has to offer.

Kennedy High School began a two phase Solar Panel Project in the South (Student) Parking Lot. This means that a portion of the South Parking Lot will be closed for between 6-8 months.

The dance is from 7-11pm on Saturday, October 14, 2023 in and around the Kennedy High School Gyms. To buy a ticket, students must have a complete dance contract that they can find in their student email. Last day to purchase will be Wednesday, October 11th at lunchtime so don’t wait until it’s too late to buy a ticket!

G3: Generation Giga Girls (or G3 for short). is a FREE 8-week program where participants will have the opportunity to connect with high schoolers across Orange County, foster skills in advocacy, presentations, public speaking, and data analysis. This program counts towards eligibility for Girls Inc. National Scholarships and there’s an opportunity to earn community service hours!*
This fall we are going to be focusing on GPAs: Are They Fair?. Participants will dive deep into how GPAs are calculated, look at the data on academic and extracurriculars offered at different schools, explore college admissions rates, and examine the relationship between education and income.
In G3, participants will learn a set of transferable skills they can apply to their majors and future careers!

If your student has checked out a chromebook from the school, buying insurance is highly recommended. Families have 30 days from the beginning of school to purchase insurance. The insurance is $30 for the 2023-24 school year and covers any physical damage that may be done to the device that causes it to no longer function properly. Chromebook insurance does not cover a lost device. You can purchase insurance through www.schoolpay.com

AIME Internship Opportunity - Web Page Internship. Aime is looking for students interested in participating in the Web Internship program (THIS IS A PAID program). Kennedy Solar Panel Parking Lot Project. On Thursday, September 14th, Kennedy High School will begin a two phase Solar Panel Project in the South (Student) Parking Lot. This means that a portion of the South Parking Lot will be closed between 6-8 months.
Therefore, student parking will be limited. It is recommended that students be dropped off at school or carpool with other students. Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience.

Kennedy PTSA is excited to announce that Kennedy is participating in the School Cents program this year starting September 1st thru April . Anytime anyone in the community shops at Cerritos Mall, Lakewood Mall and Stonewood Mall and either SCANS their receipts, EMAILS it to us at PTSA (jfkirishptsa@gmail.com) or drops the physical receipt at the attendance office, we will get credit and may be eligible to get money towards our school at the end of the school year. Join us for our fall Fourth District Kids Fishing Derby on Saturday September 16, 2023 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Ralph B. Clark Regional Park located at 8800 Rosecrans Ave., Buena Park, CA 90621.
Residents of the Fourth District, including the cities of Stanton, Buena Park, Fullerton, La Habra, Brea, Placentia, and portions of Anaheim, may RSVP for the Kids Fishing Derby until the event capacity is reached.
